The opening party has been announced, and it is going to be incredible! We have CHARLIE TODD coming from New York for a VIP premiere of the new film about him We Cause Scenes, and some killer food, music,
6 p.m.: VIP screening of Charlie Todd’s We Cause Scenes at the Nickelodeon Theatre at 1607 Main Street. Charlie Todd, founder of Improv Everywhere, will also be in attendance for a talkback following the film. All festival pass holders will be granted admission to this limited-seating screening
7 p.m.: The Indie Grits Opening Party on the 1600 block of Main Street will feature food from local food trucks and beer and wine available for purchase. The party will also feature a full lineup of live music, including Say Brother, The Royal Tinfoil (from Charleston, S.C.) and a DJ previewing the sounds of Columbia’s first Hip Hop Family Day. Admission is free.
